Terms of use
Last updated August 13, 2026
The three things that matter most
1. LA Law Hub is not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. 2. Using this site or contacting us creates no attorney–client relationship, and nothing you send us is confidential or privileged. 3. A listing is not a recommendation — we do not vouch for the competence of any firm, and you are responsible for your own due diligence.
Accepting these terms
These terms govern your use of www.lalawhub.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change means the revised terms apply.
No legal advice
LA Law Hub is a publisher. Our guides, news items, interviews and calculators describe how legal processes generally work in California and Los Angeles County. They are general information, not advice about your situation, and they cannot account for facts we do not know.
Law changes, and deadlines in particular turn on details that are not obvious from the outside. Do not act, or decide not to act, on the basis of anything on this site without consulting a licensed California attorney about your own circumstances.
No attorney–client relationship
Using this site, submitting a form, or emailing us does not create an attorney–client relationship with LA Law Hub or with any firm listed here. Communications you send us are not confidential and not privileged. Please do not send us details of your case.
When you contact a listed firm using details published here, you are contacting that firm directly. Any relationship that follows is between you and that firm. We are not a party to it, receive no part of any fee, and take no responsibility for the services provided.
Directory listings
Listings are compiled from public records and from information supplied by firms. A listing — including one marked Verified — is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee of quality, or a statement that a firm is suitable for your matter.
Verified means only that we checked a firm's California State Bar registration and standing on the date shown. It is a factual check that is never sold and never granted as part of a paid listing — and, at present, we have not completed it for any firm, so no listing on the site currently carries the badge. Paying for an enhanced profile affects presentation only: it does not change search position, ratings, verification status or editorial treatment.
We try to keep listings accurate but cannot guarantee it. Confirm a firm's current status, credentials and suitability yourself before engaging them. If you find an error, tell us.
Reviews and other submissions
Reviews are written by site visitors and represent their own opinions. We do not verify that a reviewer was a client, and we do not endorse or adopt any review. By submitting a review or other content you confirm it is your own, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and not defamatory, unlawful or submitted on behalf of a firm or its competitor.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit for length and clarity, and distribute what you submit. We may remove content at our discretion in line with our review policy, and we do not remove reviews merely because a listed firm asks.
Calculators and downloadable documents
Our calculators produce estimates based only on the values you enter. They apply general California rules and do not know the facts of your matter. Outputs are not a valuation, a prediction of outcome, or a substitute for professional advice.
Downloadable templates and checklists are starting structures, not finished legal documents, and are not tailored to any jurisdiction-specific requirement beyond what is stated on the page. You may use and share them free of charge for personal use or within a law firm. You may not resell them, present them as your own product, or remove attribution.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code and compilation of this site are owned by LA Law Hub or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may read, print and share individual pages for personal or internal professional use, with attribution.
You may not copy substantial portions of the directory, scrape the site, republish our guides or news items in whole, or use our content to train or build a competing dataset or product, without written permission. Firm names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners and appear here for identification only.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools to harvest listings, contact details or content.
- Submit false, misleading or impersonating information, including reviews.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site.
- Use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages to listed firms or to anyone else.
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
Third-party links
We link to court websites, government publications, firm websites and other external resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LA Law Hub and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any firm listed on it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
