Stonebrook Law is led by founder and managing attorney Joseph Tojarieh, who was admitted to the California bar in December 2009, according to State Bar records. The firm's biography says he earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2009 after a bachelor's degree from UCLA, and opened his own practice the same year. According to the firm, he is admitted in all California state courts, the four federal district courts in California, the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court, and is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.

The firm says it represents only employees, never employers. Its practice pages list wage and hour claims such as unpaid overtime and minimum wage, missed meal and rest breaks, off-the-clock work, expense reimbursement, misclassification as an independent contractor or exempt employee, and claims under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
