Adam Diament, the attorney behind Diament Patent Law, holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law (2008) and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from UC Davis (2004). According to the firm's website, he is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a member of the State Bar of California, both since 2008, and has focused on intellectual property law for over fifteen years, including five years operating his own IP law practice before becoming a partner at Nolan Heimann LLP in 2023, where the practice is now based.

According to the firm's website, before practicing law Diament worked as a research scientist studying the genetics of metabolic disorders and contributed to the Human Genome Project. The practice is based in Encino, California and represents clients throughout the United States, offering a free initial consultation.
